What is SSAE-18 Type II?
SSAE-18 Type II is a security audit certification for print & mail centers that includes all 3 Service Organization Control (SOC) reporting standards—SOC 1, SOC 2 & SOC 3.
That means the facility meets or exceeds objectives for physical and environmental security, information security, and data confidentiality and privacy. You can expect masked SSNs, privacy cover sheets, Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPI), and secure 24/7 workflow management among other precautions.
